Both are dependable practices if your pet’s issue can wait for their open hours. Oakland Park Animal Hospital has been open since 1987 with a full Saturday from 8 to 5, no early Saturday cutoff, plus a veterinarian on call 24 hours a day for anything that comes up after we close. None of the three of us are open Sunday, but if your dog swallows something it should not have on a Saturday afternoon or a Tuesday night, ours is the number that still gets answered.
